01 · How we make it
Blown film extrusion, step by step.
A continuous process: molten polymer is blown into a tall bubble of film, cooled, flattened and wound into rolls, ready to cut into bags.
- 1Raw material dosingPolymer granules (LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE or bio-based PLA/PBAT) are blended with masterbatches for UV stability, colour, anti-block and slip, in automated gravimetric dosers.
- 2Plastication & extrusionA rotating screw in a heated barrel (160–230 °C) melts the mix into a smooth, uniform polymer melt.
- 3Annular dieThe melt is pushed up through a circular die to form a continuous tube of molten film.
- 4Bubble inflation & coolingAir inflates the tube into a tall bubble while a chilled air ring freezes it at the frost line, setting thickness and strength.
- 5Collapse & take-upCollapsing boards flatten the bubble into lay-flat tube, and nip rollers draw it up at a controlled speed.
- 6Corona treatment & windingCorona treatment prepares the surface for printing and bonding, then the film is slit and wound into rolls.

Multi-layer co-extrusion and a controlled blow-up ratio give film that is strong in both directions, batch after batch.
